Background info:
We have had 2 follow up appointments since,
My 13 1/2 year chocolate lab old Nikki had a large lump for over a year or so that opened up and was bleeding over the weekend. Previously my vet advised to leave it be , because he wasn't sure she would survive surgery.
The Tompkins' Family!
Nikki is happy, wagging her tail and moving around alot and just back to her old self, which for the last year or so she has not been.
After Dr. Holland examined her she came out and explained our options and suggested that it be removed and all the details. She was very compassionate and assuring to us that I felt ok with leaving her in her hands.
After about 3 hours in the ER and different attempts by the team to help him, we thought he might survive, but unfortunately he ended up passing. I was deeply touched by the care and compassion the entire staff provided to us, especially for my daughter who was there for the whole time. They provided us ample time for my daughter to grieve and come to grips with the situation. What touched me even more was when one of the team members brought out Skye's remains for us to take home, as they put him in a small box and took the time to print a special label for it with "In loving memory of Skye". It was a small gesture, but made such a difference to my daughter during this emotional time. Thank you!
I went to Alliance originally in 2013 for an emergency with my cat. I found Dr. Holland and her staff to be very caring and extremely competent. I have continued to use them for my 2 cats non emergency needs.
She texted me during the night that my girl was fine and I could pick her up in the morning.
I would like to thank the entire staff for the care of my dog. I brought my 8 week old Bullie pup in for treatment for various ailments. He was in very bad shape when we arrived. Once here the staff was very professional and immediately began to treat him. I had to leave him for three days. The staff sent text messages every few hours with an update of his condition as well as pictures. He is home now recovering. They also called multiple times after the visit to followup on my cats health.
When I brought her in on a late Sunday evening ub July 2017, I was met at the door by Channon and Jerry who greated us by our car picked her up and were so warm, friendly and calming, that I know Nikki felt that too. She is usually timid aroynd strangers, but seemed to like the attention she was getting.
Last evening we had to take my 10 yr old daughter's bird "Skye" to Alliance ER as he had become lethargic and was not eating.
My latest visit was 2 days ago and still the warm and caring staff. I can strongly recommend Dr. Holland.
Would highly recommend Alliance.
Very positive experience. The staff, especially Channon and including Dr. Holland really care about their patients and the pet owners. Dr. Holland took the time to sit down with me and explain what was going on and patiently answered all of my questions. They laid out the costs before doing any procedures and most importantly, my kitty is feeling much better.
.
Both wonderful experiences. Thank you to All,
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts,
