The people who assisted us were friendly. Rob the manager and the man they call Marty (I assumed that's the owner) were kind and patient in assisting us.
I also noticed my friend had to get his rear rim replaced. He paid a fairly decent amount (~100) and they were so kind enough to "upgrade" the rim he had to the next version. The only issue was it's a USED rim.
After I brought the bike in to get it looked at, I consistently had my chain sucked to point where It ground away a decent amount of the frame. On top of that I absolutely loved having to readjust the gears so they could work when they were "serviced."
They always provide great service.
There's a sense of entitlement and pretentiousness to many of those people. If I could go back, I would have never stepped foot in that place. Huge reason why I will not purchase a damn thing from them in the future. Good thing is I'll save money anyways. This place is at least 10$ more expensive than most bike shops in this area.
Extremely helpful when I walked through the door. Clean place. Repair shop looks well organized
The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to answer questions in a no pressure environment.
2 stars is only because I've had 2 moments with a particular mechanic there, who was really helpful and kind. Everyone else I've dealt with has absolutely no customer service skills. Even then, I don't expect a local bike shop to have stellar cs skills-because they're bikers-, but I would expect them to at least attempt to help or explain the problem further and educate the customer. Every time I come out of this shop I'm left with doubts or lack of confidence that the issues were resolved. Regardless of how much you spend, you should be treated the same. Also, I consistently see different prices for the same product on the same day (website.)
The benefit to this trash experience is I've learned to do a lot of my own work on my own bike. I can even give myself a douchey look in the mirror at the end, so I can get the true Marty's experience.
